Topline Vocal Tune lets you create classic hard tune effects or shape the sound to match the singer’s intonation to achieve a more natural overall feel.

Like most pitch correction tools, Topline Vocal Tune has individual pitch and formant controls, which can be linked for precision, and the Shift Mix control allows you to balance between the processed and unprocessed signals. However, the plugin can also use MIDI input, so you can repitch the vocal signal to follow the notes being played on a keyboard or from the arranger in your DAW.
Alternatively, the MIDI signal can be used to redefine the scale you’ve selected as the reference point for the pitch correction. Here, there is a range of options, including major, natural minor, melodic and harmonic minor, as well as a selection of modes. Once you’ve selected the scale, you can then customize it to ensure that only specific notes are being used.
One of the most interesting features by far is the Natural control section with two different elastic pitch processing modes and a sustain control to shape the pitch envelope. This allows you to match the corrective processing accurately to the style of vocals you’re working with, so you can ensure the effect is as transparent as possible.
