Kemper Profiling 2.0: Adds Superior Dynamics & Resonance
The Kemper Profiling 2.0 update adds a more realistic profile for both the older Profiler and newer Kemper Profiler 2 hardware systems. The update is due out very soon, and they have been sharing teaser videos of what it sounds like.
Kemper Profiling 2.0
Profiling 2.0 has arrived. Kemper has leveled up with superior dynamic response, ultra-precise profiling, and the debut of Kemper’s new intuitive Resonance controls. Bringing the company’s profiling technology even closer to profiling an amp’s character and feel.
This is great news for any Kemper users, new or old, as the Profiling 2.0 update works on older and newer units.
Check the teaser demo videos below to hear it in action.
Rig Manager
Kemper users can use the Rig Manager software to create Profiles 2.0, and so the process is relatively simple for the updated profiles.
Old & New Update
The update is available for all Kemper hardware, so it offers everyone who uses it a neat upgrade to their existing hardware.
This will certainly help Kemper’s sales and support for their existing owners, as brands like Line 6 and Neural DSP have both seen frequent hardware updates recently, with the Stadium and Quad Cortex Mini launching worldwide in recent weeks.
When Is It Out?
For full details on the new update, head over to Kemper’s main site from the link below. They have been teasing it for weeks; however, it looks like it is about to officially drop at any time, so keep checking their site for the official update and more detailed information on all the new features.
Whether you use the Profiler Stage MK 2, Profiler Player, or any of the Profiler heads, this free ‘liquid profiling’ update is going to be popular with existing or new owners.

“Summer” finally arrives in March.
At least they didn’t wait until April Fools Day.
I checked and the software update is still not available on the Kemper site.
