Lefty Day Savings:
Lefty Day: Giving left handed players a chance
Celebrated since 1976, the 13th of August sees us celebrate our left-handed family and friends. So, why should *Thomann be any different?
With tens of products reduced for a limited time! Act quickly, as we’ve only got until Friday 15th, before these cool guitars revert to their RRP. Let’s check out some of the offerings.
Harley Benton Discounts
Our first look at lefty day deals comes from the humble guys and girls over at Harley Benton. Offering two acoustic guitars, both with gig bags included!

On offer, we have the budget-friendly Harley Benton D-120. Now, made even more affordable thanks to a *10% discount!
That’s not all, though. Also representing a 10% saving is a guitar from their *Custom Line. This Auditorium acoustic with a cutaway features a solid okoume top along with scalloped X-bracing. Plus, a Pau Ferro fingerboard with a C profile neck for some comfortable campfire chords.

Les Paul Lefty Day Deals
From acoustic to electric, and from cheap to expensive, let’s dive into the world of Les Pauls. Likewise, we have two offerings, both with admirable savings.

This Custom EB LH was €5,299 and is *now €4,999, representing a saving of 5%. However, most notably is the refined TV yellow example, showcasing a slightly higher *7% reduction in price.
An Indonesian model, there’s the stunning mahogany neck and body, accompanied by a vintage ’50s neck. We also command x2 P90 pickups with a compensated wraparound bridge.

Woah, woah, woah! Did you think we’d leave you with just two Les Pauls? Oh no, Gibson has many other guitars up for grabs with these Lefty Day deals:

Taylor Guitar Deals
Again, let’s get back to some acoustic guitars. Taylor is one of the best in the business for sweet-sounding acoustic guitars. On offer are two models, both of which are 12-string examples.
First of all, we have this rosewood grand auditorium 12-string with a cutaway for effortless access to the dusty end of the fretboard. Moreover, we’ve got a Taylor ES2 expression pickup system. To accompany those impressive credentials, this 254ce has been *reduced by 11%.
Something a little out of the ordinary, now *reduced to €2,222 from €2,499, is this 326ce 12 fret 12 string. The back and sides are solid Tasmanian blackwood and features v-class bracing. Plus, a much shorter scale length.

Deals from Schecter
Back to some heavier stuff now, and we really mean heavy! Comprising of 8-string guitars and the fattest humbuckers you’ve ever seen. Let’s see what Schecter bring to the table for lefty day.

· Source: Thomann
Perhaps the most visually striking of the Schecter deals is this Omen Elite-8. Eight strings, and a whopping *15% discount too! We get 24 jumbo frets for all of the riffage, a 508mm fretboard radius and black hardware to finish it all off. On that bolt-on neck, we’ve got some rather discreet pearloid line inlays on top of the maple wood.
Aside from this killer model, there are two other guitars that are also reduced. Of course, you’ll find more over on Thomann’s official Lefty Day page.

Marcus Miller Bass Deals
Time to give the bass players some love. Oh, and not just any bass players, left-handed bass players. Paul, these ones are for you!

Okay, so there are two models in particular that have grabbed my attention. One of which is the V5 Alder-4 VWH. Aside from the *15% reduction in price, this bass features a single-piece roasted maple neck. There are also 20 medium-sized frets, plus a vintage-style bridge.
Whilst doom-scrolling on Thomann, I also liked the look of the *V5 24-4 NT LH. Offering a similar saving for lefty day as before, I love the shorter scale body. This time we get 2 Marcus Vintage-J Revolution single coil pickups and premium open gear tuners.

Don’t forget the other discounted basses either:

Warwick
Concluding our look at basses, and indeed lefty day deals, is this rather cool-looking Warwick Corvette RB. Featuring a bolt-on 3-strip laminated maple neck.

This time, we’re working with a 16% saving! Taking this bass guitar *from €925 down to €777. Other cool stats and features include:
- 32″ Scale Length
- Alder Body
- Active MEC J/J single coil pickups
- Two-piece Warwick bridge
- High Gloss Finish

Food for thought : you all play guitar backward. The left hand is the one doing most of the work in RH guitars and vice versa.
If you’re left-handed… buying a right-handed guitar may actually make learning guitar easier.
So all right handed people should start out on left handed guitars 🤔
That is so something a right-handed person would say.
