In Steinberg Absolute 7, you get Groove Agent 6, the Axe Machina guitar instrument, and a range of other tools for music production and film scoring.
Whether you use Steinberg Cubase, Nuendo, or another DAW, you can take advantage of the creative power of Absolute 7. This gives you a sampler instrument library within HALion 7, as well as a collection of softsynths, organs, pianos, guitars, groove tools, and a range of orchestral and cinematic instruments.

Among the new features within Absolute 7, you’ll find Groove Agent 6, the latest version of Steinberg’s drum design platform. This includes a range of 47 newly sampled elements for the kits within Groove Agent. Also, there is a Punch Kit if you need dynamic acoustic drums, and a Color Punch set with 25 Beat Agent kits.
For guitar sounds, the new Axe Machina instrument has been created by Soundiron with raw and heavy sampled seven-string guitar patches with a range of orchestrations. This includes open and muted playing, powerchords, fretting, harmonics, and scrapes, with a selection of integrated effects and a useful auto-strum feature.
If you’re an FM synthesis user, Steinberg has added a new sound library for HALion’s FM Lab called Carrier8, created by Stephane Garganigo. This collection of 100 sounds includes leads, basses, and animated pads designed to elevate your Pop and Electronic Music productions.
The Cinematique Instruments collection has also been expanded with the Colors LoFi Tapes instrument. This allows you to add unique textures, as its selection of sounds is imbued with hiss, noise, and crackle to add character to any production. In addition, vintage synth fans can enjoy the new Vintage Classics presets collection for Retrologue, designed by Dave Polich.
