The Wah-ocTo-Fuzz is a collaboration between DOD (Digitech) and Morley pedals and combines sub-octave, fuzz and wah in one pedal dubbed the “WTF”!

Wah-ocTo-Fuzz

The Digitech DOD Morley Wha-Octa-Fuzz pedal is a 3-in-1 effect with sub-octave, fuzz and wah all housed in a rugged blue cold-rolled-steel enclosure with a glow-in-the-dark treadle.

3-in-1 Time Machine

Step into a time machine of grit and sub-harmonics. This 3-in-1 monster combines the quirky, glitchy charm of an 80s DOD FX35 analog octave with the massive, sweeping roar of the 70s Morley Power Wah and Power Fuzz.

Run each effect solo, or combine your favourites, or even stack all three to unleash pure, unadulterated retro fury. This looks like it could be a lot of fun to play with, and having three classic effects in one unit gives users plenty of options to experiment with.

DOD (Digitech) and Morley all make some pretty great effect pedals, so to combine three effects into one is going to be a lot of fun.

Below is a short overview of each effect.

Octave

Direct Level blends in your unaffected dry signal, Tone Control shapes the overall brightness, and Octave Level dictates the presence of the rumbling lower octave.

70s Fuzz

The Intensity knob controls the circuit’s gain and saturation, allowing you to dial in everything from subtle grit to heavy distortion. Meanwhile, the Fuzz Level manages the overall output volume of the fuzz circuit, ensuring your sound cuts through the mix without altering your gain structure.

Wah

That famous Morley Electro-Optical Wah circuit offers ease of use and a switchless operation. With the really handy feature where the wah turns on as soon as your foot touches the treadle and bypasses when you remove your foot.

A big red LED shows you which effects are engaged, so you can navigate this pedal easily on dark stages. The fuzz and octave effects have their own dedicated on/off switches, so it should be super simple to use live.

It has the ability to run from either a 9V battery or a centre negative tip 9V power supply. The pedal has standard 1/4-inch input and output jacks and runs in mono.

Who is it for?

If you need any or all of these effects, then this new Digitech DOD Wha-Octa-Fuzz is certainly one pedal to check out in 2026. I like the form factor, and it combines some classic effects, so it could save a lot of space on a pedalboard.

I’m looking forward to hearing some official audio demos, as on paper, this ‘WTF’ sounds great!
