The Stylophone family just keeps growing! What began with the legendary stylus synth from the ‘60s is now a complete product family that includes a bunch of unique synths, a drum machine, and even a Theremin. At NAMM 2026, Stylophone is set to introduce the Stylophone VOICE, a pocket-sized sampler with everything you need to get creative on the go.
Simply press the Sample button to record a sample using the built-in microphone or the Aux input. There are three slots available for sampling. Samples are immediately playable on the stylus keyboard. You can also add effects at the push of a button. There are 12 effects in total, including Reverse, Robot, Repeat, Delay, Reverb, a couple of filters, and other fun stuff like Spin and Wobble.
But that’s not all. The Stylophone VOICE also offers a sequencer with four tracks and four pattern memory slots. The first three tracks are for the three sample slots, while track 4 is reserved for the included drum sounds. The sequencer can sync to external gear via sync in/out jacks. Not bad at all!
The Stylophone VOICE runs on AA batteries. As a true Stylophone, it has a built-in speaker, but there’s also a headphone output.
The Stylophone VOICE certainly isn’t the only portable sampler to come out in recent years, but it sure looks like loads of fun! If they really manage to bring it to market for around $50 as reported, it’ll fly off the shelves.

Sources say that the Stylophone VOICE will be available from July 2026 for around $50. You can sign up for the waiting list on the manufacturer’s website.
