Hughes & Kettner Deals: Time is ticking…
From today, 04/08/2025, until the end of the month, 30/08/2025, Thomann has a great range of Hughes & Kettner gear with some admirable savings. If you’re looking for some visually impressive, modern, tube amp technology, these are the guys to go for.
Tubemeister Guitar Boxes
Kicking us off in our hunt for savings, we have three Tubemeister Guitar Boxes. Because life is all about choice, we get 110, 112, and 212 variants.

The 112 example offers us a single 12 inch celestion speaker, along with 60-watts of head supporting power and operates at 16 Ohms.
By contrast, the 212 doubles up with twin vintage 30 12-inch speakers and, this time, a 120-watt output. It all depends on what you’re looking for. Moreover, this guise is 30% off and is now *€398 / £344. The *110 is now €198, reduced from €229, and the *112 offers us a 21% discount over RRP.
Redbox 5
Time for some amp simulation. This DI box will fit straight into your gig bag or backpack, and offers the industry standard solution to microphone-free amps.

All good things come in threes! We get three independently selectable filters for the sound adjustment of a 4×12-cab simulation, being able to adjust how tight or loose it feels. Plus, we’ve got a switch for a modern or vintage sound, and phantom power available.
Representing a whopping *37% saving, this Redbox 5 DI was €79 / £68, and is now €49 / £42. An ideal backup for your rig?
TubeMeister Deluxe Heads
Next up, two deluxe amp heads. This is what the guys and girls at Hughes and Kettner do best. Visually these are stunning, so just wait until you hear how they sound!
These tube amp heads come as either 20 or 40-watt variants. The 20-watt version offers a *16% saving, and the more powerful example provides us with 12% off.
Crucially, we get clean and lead channels, with a boost function. All of this is maintained via a classic 3-band EQ. You don’t really need anything else, but it does also have a serial FX loop for the rest of your rig.

The *TubeMeister Deluxe 40 doesn’t just give us more power, it’s a totally different animal. This time, we’ve got an integrated MIDI input with phantom power, plus the ability to plug straight into a PA, meaning no heavy cabs! There are also three channels this time, clean, crunch and lead.
Regarding tubes, there are three 12AX7 preamp tubes and an impressive four EL84 power tubes. Ready for some extra heat on stage?
Spirit Series
Speaking of heads, these Hughes & Kettner deals expand to a couple of other heads. Being a bit more specific, we get various genres to choose from:
This is where we really start to see some impressive savings. Just take my pick of the bunch, the Spirit of Rock head. This is *44% off, showing us a saving of €40 / £34. Ideal for those classic rock riffs, we’ve got H&K’s Spirit Tone Generator technology and an unfiltered line-out as for the use of software cab sims.
All of these Spirit heads are transport-friendly, weighing just over 1Kg with the power supply. That’s not bad!
Triamp Mark 3
Before we conclude our Hughes & Kettner deals, it’s time to look at the big daddy, the flagship of the range, if you will. Down from €2,198 / £1,904, this 22Kg, 150-watt amp head is now *€1,698 / £1,471. It starts with a 1, that’s a price you’ll be happy telling your wife about…
On offer are six channels, along with global presence, resonance and volume controls:
- 50s Californian Clean
- 60s British Clean
- 70s British Lead
- 80s Brown Sound
- 90s Californian High Gain
- Modern-Day High Gain
Something for every player? It doesn’t stop there, though. Each channel has its own boost mode, which can be activated via a footswitch. For added control, there’s an infinitely variable noise gate, IBD.
Stomp Boxes
To finish our taste of limited-time deals, we’ll be checking out two stompbox amp pedals. Although, they’re both at very different price points.

Outside of this limited-time deal, the StompMan represents great value for money anyway. However, right now you could save *16% from RRP. What does that get you?
A fully analogue pedal that starts off at 50 watts, and allows you to condense all the way down to 12.5 watts. Moreover, we get physical controls for solo volume, overall tone, gain, presence and resonance. Oh, and a sagging control, something that we all wish we had…

By contrast, we have a more gig-oriented stomp box. Likewise, we’re making a 16% saving here, benefiting our wallets to the tune of *€498 / £431, rather than the usual €598 / £518. That’s €100 / £100 off however you look at it!
This has an integrated 200 watt amplifier and can be used directly with guitar cabs or can go straight into a PA desk. We have four channels, and all parameters except ‘Master’ can be stored in up to 128 presets. Therefore, it’s your pedal, your way. We also get a free app to control the pedal via your phone.
