Strymon Pedal Leak

This Strymon pedal leak was spotted over on The Gear Page forum. The source was originally from an unlisted YouTube video and if you scrolled to the very end it showed six popular and now supposedly updated Strymon pedals. The pedals listed include the Blue Sky, Flint El Capistan, Lex, Deco and Dig. All six effect pedals are already firm favourites with gear heads, and so this potential leak has got them all very excited.

What’s new?

It appears many of the six effect pedals now have an extra knob for controlling parameters, MIDI via TRS and some TGP users are speculating potentially USB-C connectivity as well. The unlisted video has now been pulled and so we cannot analyse it further, but at least someone grabbed a screenshot of the six pedals in question.

Of course, these could all be mock-ups and lots of TGO forum users could be getting overexcited about nothing. However, we have just seen Midnight editions of many of these pedals, which might have been a way of clearing through stock before a new release.

It looks like Strymon is moving some secondary functions to their own knob. The worst part of Strymon stuff is searching for or not even knowing about these hidden functions.
However, the Strymon Deco is one of the best pedals ever made IMO. Take my money please. I might need a Lex, too.

Enough with the pedals and start introducing some 19″ rack models.
Not everyone is a guitar player.
