A welcome update to what’s become a classic collection of historic Korg synthesizers in software form adding the miniKORG 700S, Prophecy and Triton Extreme.
Korg Collection 3
The Korg Legacy collection has been around since 2004 and was a great combination of a handful of classic synths that could be used together as a sort of uber-combi monster. You had synths like the Wavestation, M1, Polysix and MS-20 to play with and they were awesome then and continue to be awesome now. Recently someone at Korg remembered that this was a cool collection of synths and released updates to the Korg Collection adding the ARP Odyssey and the Triton.
Now we come to version 3 where they’ve added three solid synthesizers that are probably worth the admission ticket on their own.

miniKORG 700S
The hardware re-release version of this oddly wonderfully machine has been really interesting and this software version is very welcome for those of us who will never get to play with the real thing. It’s a compact monosynth with easy controls, a great vibe and comes with a bunch of pedal effects to bring out the best of that unique tone.
Prophecy
The Prophecy “Solo Synthesizer” is a 90’s dance music classic having innovative performance controls, an unusual shape and sound that would rip your head off. The software version brings polyphony to the MOSS synthesis engine and offers a huge range of sounds and potential.
Triton Extreme
More sounds, more presets, all the banks from all the Tritons in a neat, controllable interface.

These are great! They’ve never been a cheap bundle but for authentic Korg sounds it can’t be beaten.

Korg has a great history. Where does my N-364 fit in? I heard a lot of its sounds from the demos of the M-1
